Information you provide

The inquiry form asks for your name, an email address or phone number, a movement goal, and whether you prefer in-person or virtual training. We use these details to respond to your inquiry and discuss an appropriate starting point. Submitting this form does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list.

Please keep your inquiry brief and avoid including medical records, financial details, passwords, or other sensitive information. This public form is for starting a conversation.

How your inquiry reaches us

Cloudflare hosts this website and processes requests to keep it available and help protect it from abuse. Resend delivers submitted inquiries to the SYD Fitness email inbox. Our Microsoft 365 email service stores and processes the messages we receive and our replies.

These providers process information needed for their services. Website requests can include technical information such as an IP address, browser information, requested pages, and request times. Email delivery records can include the message, sender and recipient addresses, delivery status, and timestamps. The form uses a submission identifier, a hashed version of your contact information, and a secret-salted hash of your network address to limit duplicate or excessive requests. Cloudflare Turnstile checks browser and request signals to help distinguish people from automated abuse. Raw network addresses are not stored in our inquiry database.

Cookies and online tracking

The public website does not include advertising pixels, third-party analytics scripts, or tools that track your activity across other websites. Its own code does not set advertising cookies or store your inquiry in your browser's local storage. Hosting and security providers may process technical information or use necessary security cookies as described in their policies.

The website does not change its behavior in response to a browser's Do Not Track setting. Its public pages do not use cross-site advertising tracking, whether that setting is enabled or disabled. Email open and click tracking are disabled for website inquiries.

Keeping and managing information

Your inquiry is first saved in a restricted Cloudflare database and then sent to our email inbox. Temporary delivery failures retry automatically for up to 20 hours. The database removes the inquiry text after the email provider accepts it; failed or unsent inquiry text is removed after seven days. Submission identifiers, payload hashes, delivery status, and operational records are removed after 30 days. Provider backups may retain deleted data for a further limited period according to their service settings. Copies of messages and delivery records may remain in our email account and service providers' systems according to their settings and retention practices. This website does not create a separate customer account or training record when you submit the inquiry form.

To ask about information you have submitted, request a correction or deletion, or ask us to stop following up, contact sean@sydfitness.com. We may need to verify that a request comes from you and retain information where required by law or to resolve an outstanding matter.

This policy covers the public SYD Fitness website and inquiry form. The client app, Acorn & Oak website, Instagram, and other linked services have separate features and information-handling practices. Review the information provided by those services when you use them.

We will post updates on this page and revise the date above when the public website's information-handling practices change.
